A.D. Willis Makes its Mark on San Antonio

  On May 15th 2008 A.D. Willis Company hosted a unique event. The occasion offered furthered education seminars, networking, and trade show. This event brought together contractors, manufactures, architects, distributors and consultants to the Red Berry Mansion in San Antonio.

Activities included:

• free AIA/CEU accredited classes.
• Legal Contracting with Mark Wojciechowski
• Energy Trends in Commercial Construction and Understanding the Role of ASHRE90 presented by Steve Phillips of R-Max/U.S. Ply
• Green Roofing presentation by Brian Gardner
• Metal Roofing presentation by Dennis Wilson with Firestone
• Single Ply Roofing with James Fountain of GAF
• LEED's Presentation by Michel Zunk of Firestone.

A tradeshow including Bradco, Spec Building Products, Roofing Supply Group, U.S. Ply, Peterson Aluminum, Berridge Manufacturing along with live music and cigar rolling by Austin's Famous Bobalu's cigar shop. The turn out was great and attendees are eagerly looking forward to next year's event.

 

Opening of the San Antonio Office

A. D. Willis Roofing and Sheet Metal has opened its doors in San Antonio. A.D. Willis has already worked many large scale projects for the past 10 years, including the Toyota of Texas Manufacturing Plant as well as the AT&T Center.

A.D. Willis President Jim Pipes says the company opened the office in San Antonio in order to keep with the demand it has been experiencing with commercial construction.

 

The new staff includes Jack Bradley, S/A Operations Mgr. Jeff Hodges, S/A Service Department. Bob Craig. Susan Pipes, S/A Office Coordinator. The San Antonio office allows the company to provide a higher level of service to our San Antonio customers.
